Never as easy as you hope but this is good quality at a reasonable price and does the job with a bit of practise. Really no point in spending more on something that will only have very occasional use. Doesn't take up too much space in a kitchen drawer either.
This cutter gives a professional touch to mince pies and tarts, so easy to use and to clean. What more could you want.

This little gadget is wonderful. Over the years I have tried to make pastry in a lattice and spent ages only for it to look home made. This little gadget just rolls over pastry and makes pastry look really professional. Dont waste time buy this little cutter now. Its so cheap and really works.

This lattice cutter is easy to use. There is a learning curve and unless you have used a similar cutter before, I suggest making a practice pie before you count on this handy tool to make a perfect lattice crust for your important dinner or event. This works best when used on dough if the proper consistency and temperature. If you make sure that your dough is pliable and not too dry or sticky, you can make a lovely lattice top crust for your pie using this cutter. I suggest viewing one or two You Tube videos before you begin cutting your crust, and taking the time to perfect your technique before you do like I did and make a bit of a mess of things with family and friends watching. My second crust came out better, and by the third I was comfortable with this tool and my crusts are to brag about, now. As with most kitchen tools, I got better and more comfortable with using this lattice cutter with experience. For me, at least, a little practice with this cutter makes perfect lattice top pies.
